Nice Signs Another Algerian Talent: Abdelhak Ben Idir Joins from Paradou
OGC Nice have continued their busy summer transfer window by securing the services of another Algerian prospect. The French club officially announced on Tuesday the signing of Abdelhak Ben Idir from Paradou AC.
Ben Idir Signs Five-Year Deal
In an official statement, Nice confirmed that the 19-year-old has put pen to paper on a contract lasting five years. The young Algerian star becomes the club’s seventh acquisition of the summer transfer period.
Ben Idir follows in the footsteps of several new arrivals at the Allianz Riviera, including Gautier Hein, Nathan Ngoumou, Laurent Abergel, Axel Witsel, Mohamed Amoura, and Elye Wahi.
Modest Fee for Promising Talent
According to French outlet Foot Mercato, Nice paid approximately €300,000 to complete the transfer, a figure reflecting the club’s limited financial resources this summer.
The move comes shortly after Nice also announced the loan signing of Algerian international Mohamed Amine Amoura from German club Wolfsburg, further strengthening the Algerian contingent at the club.
