Deloitte Returns to LEAP 2026 with a Program Focused on Scaling Enterprise AI Adoption

Deloitte Middle East is returning to LEAP 2026 for the fourth consecutive year with a program centered on helping enterprises move from AI experimentation to widespread implementation. The focus will be on achieving measurable value, enhancing operational resilience, and building trust.

Challenges in Scaling AI Across the Region

According to a press release received by Al-Bawaba Tech, organizations in the Middle East are facing difficulties in scaling pilot AI projects and integrating them into enterprise-wide systems and operations. Deloitte’s “State of AI in Enterprises 2026” report reveals that only 34% of surveyed companies are using AI to radically transform their products, processes, or business models, while 37% are focusing on limited productivity improvements without significant operational changes.

The report also indicates that many organizations remain in the proof-of-concept stage, launching pilot projects without expanding them across the enterprise due to challenges such as integration with existing systems, governance complexities, and limited infrastructure.

Three Key Pillars of Deloitte's Program

Deloitte plans to address three main themes related to the next phase of enterprise AI:

  • The Reality of Agentic AI: AI is shifting from answering questions to executing tasks within workflows.
  • AI in the Physical World: Integration of AI with robotics, the Internet of Things (IoT), and infrastructure.
  • The Trust Equation: Governance, ethics, and sovereignty frameworks necessary for large-scale AI deployment.

Leadership Perspective

Motaz Al-Dajani, CEO of Deloitte Middle East, stated: “Enterprises across the Middle East have moved quickly from exploring AI’s potential to testing it across various business areas. The challenge today lies in moving these experiments to large-scale implementation.”

Deloitte's Activities at LEAP 2026

On September 2, Deloitte will lead the “AI Leaders Platform” at LEAP 2026. The program will focus on three pillars: delivering value, enhancing resilience, and building trust. Sessions will cover topics such as AI in the workplace, cyber resilience, AI governance, and trustworthy AI at scale.

Participants include representatives from Expo 2030 Riyadh, Saudi First Bank, and the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA), along with Oracle, Dell, Amazon Web Services, IBM, and NVIDIA.

Deloitte will also host an interactive space featuring live demonstrations, client discussion sessions, and a studio for recording live podcast episodes during the conference.
